Dues:  $30 - includes local, state & international membership; chapter T-shirt; International Membership Pin; subscription to DECA Direct magazine; opportunity to leave school for field trips and competitions; local chapter activities. Payment accepted in cash, checks payable to MHS DECA, or through student fundraising account

Bring used books for the annual DECA Used Book Sale at the public library. Bring 5 used books to earn 1 Leadership Point!

DATES TO REMEMBER:

August 30 - DECA Fall Kickoff at the RedHawks game. Game time 7:05 p.m. Sports Marketing activities in afternoon! Bring money for food!

September 7 - FIELD TRIP (8:30 - 1:00) to Mustang Library to set-up the Mustang DECA Annual Used Book Sale (*meet in cafeteria at 8:30 *wear chapter T-shirt *bring lunch money)

September 8 - BOOK SALE (9:00 - 2:00) - Mustang Public Library (SW 59th & Mustang Rd) Marketing II seniors are required to work AT LEAST one hour. All are members are invited! Earn 1 Leadership Point per hour.

October 5 - Last day to pay annual DECA dues

October 16 - Fall Leadership Conference at Oklahoma City University. Officers only. (*wear khaki pants and chapter T-shirt *bring lunch money)

November - International DECA Month

December 5 - State Officer Applications Due

January 9 - Written events due to Mrs. Cerny

January 15 - State Officer Candidates Testing and Interviews - CareerTech offices in Stillwater. Candidates only. (*wear official DECA Blazer)

February 11-13 - DECA State - Southern Hills Marriott, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Must have earned 5 local Leadership Points and be a competitor to attend.

February 20 - Deposit ($450) due for Internationals, plus permission slips and paperwork. Must have earned eligibility at State competition.

March 6 - Remainder due for Internationals

March 11 - DECA Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol

April 23 -28 - ICDC (International competition) in Anaheim, California
